Research & Development Cell (RDC)
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 aims to foster high-quality research within the Higher Education System. Research and innovation play a vital role in improving the educational standards of colleges. Recognizing the need for a strong framework to support research and development in higher education institutions (HEIs), guidelines were formulated to establish a robust mechanism. In line with this vision, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced guidelines for setting up Research and Development Cells (RDCs) in HEIs.
