Professor (Dr.) Ranjan Kumar is an accomplished and renowned academician and legal scholar with a depth experience in the field of Law education. He has received his academic qualification B.A. in1991 from Allahabad University, Allahabad, LL.B. is 1995 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, LL.M. in 1997 from Banaras Hindu University and Ph.D. awarded in 2006 from Bundel khand University, Jhanshi, U.P.

Prior to joining department of Law M.G. Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, he served as lecturer in Bundelkhand University from 30.07.2001 to 25.11.2002. Prof. Ranjan Kumar has been teaching in the department of Law since 2002 as Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience at graduate, Post graduate and research level in the field of legal proposition. His area of specialization is business organization and constitutional law. He has written/edited/ compiled more than 20 books and 32 research papers. His numerous article published in various news paper. under his potential guidance two significance research project is awarded by the sponsored of centre of excellence project U.P.

Prof. Ranjan Kumar delivered more than 12 lecture in the capacity of distinguished speaker in various institution. There are more than 12 Ph.D. doctoral thesis has been awarded under his supervision. He has successfully completed two term Headship and Deanship in the faculty of law. At present, both prestigious position is continued. Prof. Ranjan kumr is designated academic council member in the Jannayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia, U.P. and Maa Vindhyavasini University Mirzapur. He is also member of board of studies in department of law, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur. Prof. Ranjan Kumar has also Administrative bent displayed as programme officer NSS, Assistant Proctor, Assistant Warden, Assistant Dean Student Welfare, Member IQAC, Chief Election Officer (student union), Dean faculty affair in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. At present serving Dean & Head in the department of Law.
