Biographical Sketch

Prof. Rajeev Ranjan is an academician and legal scholar with Master of Laws (LLM) from Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi and Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has rendered his services as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at Sarala Birla University, Ranchi, for about 3 years. He also taught at Netaji Subhash University, Jamshedpur between 2022-2023. His academic career reflects passionate commitment to legal aid and education, research, and institutional development, with a particular focus on constitutional law, business law, jurisprudence, and human rights. Mr. Ranjan also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Mathematics, reflecting his strong interdisciplinary academic foundation. He has qualified UGC-NET in Law and Human Rights. Before joining academia in law, Mr. Ranjan gained valuable professional experience as an Advocate practicing before the Patna High Court and Ranchi High Court.
