Biographical Sketch

Dr. Niladri Mondal has earned his doctoral degree in the area of Public Law at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He has been writing in the area of the Constitutional Law on topics encompassing Common Market, Law and Policy in Renewable Energy, and Environmental Challenges in the reputed journals. He has published book chapter on Environment challenges and Renewable Energy which has created interests among academicians and Industries. He has also presented research works in different national and international platforms. Before that he has completed his masters in law from prestigious Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur and qualified for Doctoral Fellowship from Ministry of HRD. He has earned B.A.LL.B(H) degree from Midnapur University.

  • Worked as Co-Principal Investigator on the Project on Exploring the disabled friendliness of metro railway stations in Kolkata: A legal and policy study at University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (Duration of the project: 5 months [November 2022-March 2023]) (ongoing).
  • Worked as Research Assistant in the Project on Legal and Policy Framework on Renewable Energy in India: A Study of Eastern India under Prof. (Dr.) Uday Shankar at IIT Kaharagpur (Duration of the work: 6 months [July 2015-December 2015]).
