Biographical Sketch

Dr. Nandita Adhikari is an accomplished academician, currently serving as Assistant Professor at Chotanagpur Law College since October 1999, with a robust career, teaching undergraduate (LL.B) and postgraduate (LL.M) students. Her area of expertise includes Legal History, Legal Writing, Law & Medicine, Interpretation of Statutes, and Crimes against social and economic security. Educational background consists of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Calcutta University, Master of Laws (LL.M) in Labor & Industrial Relations and Administrative Law from Annamalai University, and a Ph.D. in Administrative Law from Ranchi University, focusing on developing principles of natural justice during the postconstitutional era in India.

  • Engaged in high-level research activities, focusing on administrative law, natural justice principles, and environmental law.
  • Ph.D. research explored the post-constitutional era development of natural justice principles in India.
  • Published numerous articles in national and international journals on contemporary legal topics like surrogacy, environmental jurisprudence, cybercrime, and human rights challenges.
